I have been a Professor of Communication Studies at Bethel University for over 25 years. I am also a Sr. Consultant with TurningWest, an Organization Development Consulting firm based in southern California. My current area of research examines how communication changes in the remote workplace. Before that, I studied cultural attitudes toward eldercare and communication challenges in residential care settings. I have written 3 books and numerous articles examining how technology impacts the way we communicate.
